A Festive Farewell to the Colorado Medieval Festival

A Festive Farewell to the Colorado Medieval Festival

What a weekend!

First, our heartfelt thanks to Kitty and Mike from The Savage Woods for hosting such a welcoming and wonderfully run event. And to the tireless squires who kept things moving with quiet efficiency — you’re the unsung heroes of the festival, and we’re so grateful.

The weather gave us the full medieval experience: Friday’s dramatic rain, Saturday’s blazing sun, and Sunday’s cool, misty skies. But through it all, the community shone — costumed wanderers, merry musicians, and fellow artisans coming together to create something special.

One of the most energizing parts of the weekend was the incredible conversations about custom work.  From fantasy weddings to gear for heroes and everyday adventurers, we were blown away by the creativity and passion you brought to the booth. There's nothing quite like co-creating something meaningful — and your ideas sparked a firestorm of inspiration.

We're already exploring:

  • Cloaks with added detail and decorative stitching
  • fully functional apothecary belt pouch
  • Witcher-inspired leather armor
  • Pouches in new colors
  • Thigh sheaths for daggers and tools
  • And… who knows… maybe even dog armor 🐺✨

A special shoutout to the Colorado Wardens for their epic ground fighting, team spirit, and genuine camaraderie — you embodied everything we love about this community.

To everyone who stopped by, shared a story, or just waved in passing — thank you. You reminded us why we do what we do, and we left the meadow creatively recharged and excited for what’s next.

Until then, may your cloaks stay dry, your belts stay full, and your stories grow ever bolder.
