Fort Collins Comic Con 2025 Wrap-Up
Share
Fort Collins Comic Con 2025 has come and gone, and what a weekend it was! This year’s FC3 was packed with energy, creativity, and community.
Our Booth & the Alchemist’s Pouch Debut
We came prepared with our handcrafted leather gear, from pouches and holsters to larger armor builds, and we really enjoyed the debut of the Alchemist’s Pouch — a structured belt-mounted design complete with glass vials, snug-fit slots, and plenty of adventurer’s flair.
The idea for this piece actually began at the Colorado Medieval Festival, during a conversation with a customer who planted the seed for an alchemist-inspired design. Seeing that idea come to life — and then watching folks at FC3 pick it up, imagine it as part of their cosplay, and ask about commissions — made all the time spent stitching worthwhile.
Friends on the Con Floor
Con life is always brighter when your neighbors are great — and we were lucky to be set up alongside Auxwave Creations, Christopher Emrys, and Faux Human. Thanks for being such fun, friendly company throughout the weekend!
A huge thank-you as well to Nick, Ben, Ses, and Jackal and the entire FC3 team for organizing and supporting such a smooth, welcoming event. Your hard work makes FC3 a highlight of the year.
A special shout-out goes to Mike Barry at Fort Collins Photo Works — your photography captured the spirit of the convention beautifully and made everyone look epic.
Conversations That Matter
What made the weekend truly special was all of you who stopped by:
- Fellow leatherworkers who swapped tips and techniques
- Seeing and speaking with cosplayers and costumers who geeked out about builds and character ideas
- Folks curious about commissions and custom gear
- Visitors who just wanted to handle a piece of hand-stitched leather and see the craft up close
These conversations are why we do what we do. Foxkin Foundry isn’t just about leather goods — it’s about stories, characters, and the shared joy of creating something meaningful together.
Looking Ahead
With FC3 behind us, we’re heading back to the workshop inspired and excited for what’s next (we'll be at Aurora Mini-Con on Saturday, September 27th!!). Right now we're working on an octopus and ocean themed satchel, a war belt in red, black, and silver with a rose motif, and getting back to a fantasy armor set we've been nibbling away at between events.
Thank you again to everyone who made FC3 such a success — we’ll see you down the road at the next convention or faire. Until then, may your adventures be well-equipped and your dice roll true.
