Rounded Pouch with Bee and Honey Motif

Based on a pattern and art from Dark Horse Workshop, this rounded pouch is made from 6-7 oz. vegetable tanned leather with yellow suede gussets.  It has an antique yellow finish with a honeycomb pattern on the front body of the pouch, and hand carved Viking style knotwork art depicting a bee on the flap.  The hardware are brass plated double capped rivets. The back, strap, and main portion of the flap are dyed black.  This piece is completely hand stitched with black waxed thread. 

The body of the pouch is just over 6.25 inches tall, and is 6.75 inches wide with a 1.5 inch gusset.

This pouch has been lightly dyed on the inside, and the outside is sealed with Fiebing's Tan Kote. It's water repellent, but long term or significant exposure to moisture will likely make the dye bleed or result in spotting.

Leather is a natural product and each piece will have some variation in thickness, how it accepts dyes or stains, and other natural characteristics. For all finishes we usually leave marks or natural patterns for aesthetics, but we try to call out anything unusual or that may affect its use.  With the exception of buckle straps which may be laser cut, all pieces are hand cut and tooled, expect some small tool marks and scratches as a normal part of the process.
